Luke

Branch/Division: Awards and Culture Branch, Government Division
Academic Background: I studied arts/law at the University of Western Sydney. After graduating I studied Mandarin in China on a scholarship from the Chinese Ministry of Education.
Why PM&C: PM&C offers a unique opportunity to get a 'whole of government' perspective on public policy and the variety of work is unparalleled in the APS. It's also a bit of a thrill to be working on briefs that will be going to the Prime Minister or Cabinet, something grads in other departments have much less chance to do.
Interests: I have a strong interest in history, particularly Asian history, and languages.
